    • Can this trigger a self timer? (So you don't have to rush, but still have a 5 second self timer on to put the remote away so it's not in the shot)

      Hi, no Bluetooth does not require 3G or Internet. The Bluetooth is the method of communication used by the Selfie Stick to "talk" with your phone's camera.
